- Catholic religious education is vital to guiding our children and youth toward nurturing a relationship with the one who loves them, Jesus. At St. Mary Magdalen's we strive to instill in our children and youth a love for Jesus as we aim to extend His love and service throughout our local community and the world. We provide fun and transformative experiences where our children grow strong Christ centered relationships with one another and a deep love for God. And we are most successful when we partner with parents and give them the resources they need to raise strong, healthy families in this ever changing world.

FIRST COMMUNION
- For children entering 2nd grade who have already been Baptized, we offer First Communion & First Reconciliation preparation through our children's faith formation program. If your child has not been Baptized, or was baptized in another Christian denomination, please contact the Parish Office for more information.
  
  First communion ceremonies are typically held on one weekend during the Easter season.
CONFIRMATION
- Preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation begins in 6th Grade for young Catholics who have already recieved Baptism, Reconciliation and First Communion. Most students prepare for the sacrament ttending our faith formation classes during the school year for their 6th and 7th grade year. It is important for students preparing for Confirmation to be active parish members, regularly attending Mass, Confession and faith formation classes.
  
  This Sacrament is typically celebrated one weekend during the Easter Season on even years.
